C3ntro Telecom and Telconet are partnering to build CSN-2, a subsea and terrestrial fiber network linking data center hubs across North America and Mexico to meet rising demand from AI, cloud, and hyperscale computing.
The roughly 1,700-kilometer subsea route runs from Veracruz, Mexico, to Apalachee Beach, Florida, with branches toward Houston and possibly Bonita Beach, creating a new Gulf crossing tied into Telconet’s existing CSN-1 system. On land, a Querétaro-to-Veracruz link will connect to C3ntro’s TIKVA network, forming a corridor spanning Phoenix, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Florida, and Querétaro.
Both CSN-1 and TIKVA are due for completion in Q4 2026, alongside a separate 170-kilometer CSN-1 extension to Cancún.
Telconet Latam is also looking into further routes into the Caribbean, Central America, and South Pacific markets like Chile, Bolivia, and Peru.
