Ryan has 20+ years of experience in the subsea cable industry, with a strong focus on route engineering and marine surveys, drawing on his marine geology and geotechnical expertise. In his role at Tetra Tech and in support of DRG, he applies survey results to design and plan pre-installation cable routes, protection measures, and burial strategies for power transmission, renewable energy, and telecommunications systems. He also supports permitting, planning, and development for offshore energy projects, integrating geophysical and geotechnical findings with federal permitting requirements. His work is grounded in a blend of hands-on technical depth and management experience, coordinating with permitting and regulatory agencies. Ryan holds a B.Sci. in Physics from The College of New Jersey and an M.Sci. in Marine Geology & Geophysics from Rutgers University.
